David Schrader and Marie Ross perform on period instruments in a recital featuring the "Kegelstatt" trio KV 498 by Mozart; Beethoven's Sonata for horn, op. 17 (arranged for basset-horn), and Anton Eberl's Sonata for clarinet and pinao in B-flat major, op. 10 no.2. This event is part of the Chicago Historical Clarinet Workshop sponsored by the Chicago Clarinet Ensemble and Northeastern Illinois University.
Marie Ross will perform on a classical-period 5-key clarinet (after A. Grenser) and a basset-horn (after Lotz). David Schrader will perform on his Walter (replica) fortepiano.
